Today, there’s a critical need to expand its role to support UG, PG, and PhD thesis projects, aid other departments in scientific research, and offer testing and consultancy services […]
Renovating the Network laboratory to a new place (Room no.F5) as Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory
To develop room number F5 (earlier used as Drawing Hall) as a modernized Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory that will house multiple setups for experiments for fundamental UG subjects related to basic electrical engineering and electrical networks, viz. EO101 for 7 other department students, EE101 and EE261 for electrical engineering students, EO201 for 2 department students.
Development of Dielectric Spectroscopy Laboratory for Education, Research and Collaborative Advancement
Dielectric response measurement and analysis is important for reliable performance of power equipment like transformer, power cable, switch gear etc. Dielectric response measurement can predict insulation failure thereby enhancing reliability of electric power system. Dielectric response measurement of power device requires high-cost specialized equipment. The aim of the project is to develop a dielectric spectroscopy […]
